Chelsea have registered new squad numbers ahead of the Premier League kickoff.
After a busy summer where the London club saw many outgoings and a few incomings, there was a need to change the squad numbers. Hakim Ziyech, Romelu Lukaku, and Callum Hodson Odoi have not been given squad numbers, as they are all expected to leave the club.
Mykhaylo Mudryk will wear the number 10, which was worn by Pulisic. Summer signing Christopher Nkunku will wear the number 18. Raheem Sterling takes over the number 7, which was worn by Kante. Enzo Fernandez switches to the number 8 as Nicholas Jackson takes the number 15.
Lewi Cowill, who signed a new contract extension, will wear the legendary 26 while Robert Sanchez will wear 31, Malo Gusto will wear 27, and Andrey Santos is set to wear 20.
Chelsea remain eager to add to their squad depth this season, with talks with Brighton for Caicedo already ongoing and negotiations with Juventus for Vlahovic gaining momentum.
