Liverpool secured a narrow victory against PSG in France as they take a step closer to the next round.

The Reds were second best in the game as the French team pinned the visitors, limiting them to a few chances.

However, they were able to carve out an opportunity to steal a 1-0 victory and head to England with a goal advantage.

Liverpool made just the one change from their win over Newcastle at left-back, with Andy Robertson coming back in for Kostas Tsimikas.

PSG, with so much confidence, took the game to Liverpool in the first half and scored the first goal but was disallowed for offside.

However, in the second half, Liverpool left it late to secure the win away from home through Harvey Elliott’s strike.

Arne Slots men held on until the end of the game and headed to Anfield with a slim advantage in the second leg.
