Liverpool manager Arne Slot has opened up about Liverpool’s loss of form.
The Premier League champions were defeated 4-1 by PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League played on Wednesday at Anfield. This comes from the back of losing yet again 3-0 to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. They are in their worst run of form in the decade, having lost 9 games out of the last 12 games. They have dropped to 12th place with 18 points.
Speaking on the loss of form, Slot admitted things are tough. “It’s not easy to say what I can do differently. If you win, lose or draw, you reflect on decisions you make in the week.” We try to find the answer we need to win a game. In the end it’s about doing what this club is about – keep fighting; we have to fight together.” He said.
Midfielder Curtis Jones on Wednesday revealed they need to rediscover their form.”It’s unacceptable. I don’t even have the words. I’m past being angry and sad. As of now we’re in the shit, and it needs to change. We still have that badge on our chest. We need to try to get this team back to where it needs to be.” He said.
