Hellen Obiri has secured a bronze medal in the women’s marathon in Paris, bringing an end to Kenyan competition in the Olympics.
Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands secured the gold with a time of approximately 2:22:55, while Tigist Assefa managed silver with a time of 2:22:58. Hellen Obiri earned the bronze medal with a time of 2:23:10 in the women’s marathon at the Olympics.
