Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has said he still counts on Marcus Rashford.
Marcus Rashford was dropped from the United derby win this month, and since then he has not been selected to be part of the squad. He has missed United losses to Spurs and Bournemouth. Rashford did an interview after he was dropped and insisted it’s time for a new challenge.
Speaking ahead of their Premier League clash against Wolves, Amorim insisted he wants to improve Rashford. “Now I’m just focused on improving Marcus; we need a lot in this moment from a talented guy like Marcus”. “I forget, for now, the interview. I just see what I see on the pitch”.“For me, as a coach, I’m just focused on the performance, the way he trains.” “The rest, it’s better for me and the club to deal with that when the time comes.” He said.
Reports online suggest that INEOS wants to sell the England forward due to his lifestyle, especially when on high wages.
