Chelsea have unveiled the signing of Willian Estevão from Palmeiras.
The Brazilian wonderkid was announced as a Chelsea player a year ago but had to wait till he was 18 years old to join the Blues. He played for Palmeiras during the Club World Cup and even scored against Chelsea in the quarter-finals. The Brazilian teenager has now joined the team as they prepare for the new campaign to take place in two weeks time.
Speaking after his unveiling, Estevao was delighted for his next stage. “It feels very rewarding to represent Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I hope to help the team in the best way possible. I can’t wait.’ I had almost a year and a half to wait until I arrived here. But it has been a year and a half that I have worked hard and have done my best to get here in the best shape possible.” He said.
