PSG defeated Arsenal in post-match penalty kicks to win the Champions League.

Arsenal started on the front foot and hit the ground running when Kai Havertz scored the opening goal in the sixth minute after poor clearance.Fabian Ruiz had the chance for PSG, but his header was just above the bar. There were penalty shout-outs after Saka appeared to handle the ball, but the referee waved the play on. Ousmane Dembele’s effort from outside the box was too high to hit the target. Marquinhos then made an important block to deny Kai Havertz, who looked through on goal.

In the second half, PSG came out strong, and Mosquera brought down Kvaratskhelia in the box, and they were awarded a penalty kick. Dembele stood strong and sent Raya the wrong way and levelled on the night. Vitinha saw his long-range effort hit the roof of the net as neither side managed to get the winner.

In the extra time, both sides created decent half-chances, with Raya coming off his line to deny Barcola on the break. There were penalty shouts after Madueke appeared to have been brought down, but the referee waved them on, and we went to penalty kicks.

PSG scored through Doue, Ramos, and Hakimi as Mendes missed, while Beraldo scored his kick. For Arsenal Gyokeres scored his, but Eze failed to as Rice and Martinelli both scored, but it was defender Gabriel who missed the last kick, and PSG won the tie.
