Arsenal defeated Brighton 2-0 at the Emirates to return to the top of the Premier League standings.
In the first half, largely dominated by Arsenal, Saka saw his shot easily saved, while Odegaard also saw his effort easily blocked by Milner, as both teams were goalless in the half-time break.
Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring early in the second half after he was left unmarked by Brighton defenders to give the Gunners the lead. Pascal Gross had the best chance for Brighton, but saw his effort sail wide off the near post. Kai Havertz then scored to seal the win for Mikel Arteta’s side after a quick counterattack.
Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League standings after Liverpool dropped points against Manchester United.
