
Senior Men’s National football team- Harambee Stars, head coach Engin Firat, has today released the 30-players provisional squad ahead of their international friendly match with Iran on March 28 in Tehran, Iran.
Harambee Stars are set to make a comeback to the international scene after over a year in the woods due to the recent FIFA suspension imposed on the country by FIFA.
Eight players are set to make their debut after their call-ups: Bryne Omondi (KCB), Daniel Anyembe (Viborg), Alpha Onyango (Gor Mahia), Nzoia Sugar duo of Joseph Mwangi and Hassan Beja, Alvin Mang’eni (Kenya Police), Victor Omune (AFC Leopards) and Alfred Scriven (IL Hodd).
Additionally, two foreign-based players are also set to make their debut: Alfred Scriven (IL Hodd), and Daniel Anyembe- who was once Denmark’s U-23 Men’s football team captain.
The team is expected to report to the camp on March 17, 2023, and fly off to Iran on March 26.
