Following AFC Leopards’ 2-2 draw against Posta Rangers in their second match of the 2025/26 FKF Premier League season at Dandora Stadium on Friday, 3 October, some supporters have voiced demands for the dismissal of head coach Fred Ambani.
Fred Ambani became AFC Leopards’ interim coach in November 2024 and led them to a fifth-place finish that season. Since his promotion to head coach in September 2025, however, he has yet to secure a win for the team.
AFC Leopards started the season with a 1-1 draw against Sofapaka at Ulinzi Sports Complex on 20 September, and followed it with a 2-2 draw against Posta Rangers.
Despite the majority of the fans calling for a change in coaching, others have urged patience, asking that Fred Ambani be given at least five games to stabilize the team before any major decisions are made. Ambani himself has appealed to supporters to remain patient as the team works on building chemistry and improving performance.
