KCB FC striker Samuel Feargod hit back at his detractors after breaking his duck with a goal in the 4-1 Mozzart Bet Cup romp over Zetech Titans. The Nigerian forward, who joined mid-season from South Sudan’s El Merriekh Bentiu, had faced heavy social media flak for his early profligacy.
“This is what I do—criticism just fuels me to work harder,” Feargod told KCB Media. “Not everyone loves you, but I’m here to score more for the team, management, and fans.”
Coach Robert Matano backed his charge, noting fitness issues from an interrupted pre-transfer routine: “We’re building him up gradually—he’ll shine when fully fit.”
The 26-year-old eyes a streak of goals to silence doubters and boost the Bankers.
