Tottenham Hotspur’s manager Robert De Zerbi has insisted his side will not give up.
Spurs find themselves in a tricky situation as they try to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season. They currently sit in the relegation zone with just 34 points from 34 games played. Two points below West Ham, who have 36 points. The remaining fixtures include Aston Villa, Leeds, Chelsea and Everton on the final day. It will be the hope of the fans that the team that was in the Champions League finals just a few years ago will not be relegated. The management changed managers and appointed Robert De Zerbi in an effort to turn the situation.
Speaking ahead of the game against Aston Villa, De Zerbi insisted that his side should give everything in the final games. “It’s like we’re all crying and relegated. No, not yet. We have to die on the pitch. “We have to play; we have to fight. We have two points less than West Ham. They have to play a difficult game like us. It’s not the best moment for us, a tough moment, but the losers cry; they think negatively, and I don’t want people close to me crying or to think a different way than me. ” he said.
