The AFC Leopards have today confirmed the appointment of Tom Juma as the new head coach.

This comes after Patrick Aussems exit as head coach, leaving the top position vacant. Juma was selected to lead the team next season. This comes after shortlisting various names like Antony Kimani and Salim Babu, but the management decided to put their trust in Juma.

Through their social media pages, the AFC Leopards confirmed the news via a statement: “His appointment as head coach comes after his significant contributions as an integral part of the coaching staff in the previous seasons.” “The management is confident that this coaching duo will lead the team to greater heights in the upcoming season.” Read the statement.

AFC Leopards finished in ninth place last season, in which Gor Mahia won the league on the final day.
