Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho has opened up after his move from Manchester United.
The Argentina winger joined Chelsea this summer from Manchester United after being frozen out by Ruben Amorim. His last appearance for the club was the finals loss to Tottenham Hotspurs in the Europa League. He has since joined Enzo Maresca’s side and scored his first goal for the club in the 2-1 loss to Sunderland during the weekend.
Garnacho explained he spoke to Maresca before joining the club. “When I spoke with the club and Maresca, it was also important to consider the style of play we have. He explained a lot to me in a video call with him.” “It’s a big chance to improve as a player in a team like Chelsea.” He said.
He went on to add that Enzo Fernandez helped him make his decision and also to settle well. “I know him from the national team, and he’s a very good guy,” Garnacho said about his teammate at club and country. I spoke with him during the summer all the time – he texted me every week. Then we met again here, and he has helped me a lot, to be honest, from the start of my time here, so now we are very good friends.” He said
