Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho expressed his excitement on Saturday after committing his future to Manchester United.

The Argentine star signed a new long-term contract that runs up to 2028. The youngster, who is currently injured, has enjoyed a breakout season under Erik Ten Hag this season and has already rewarded him by scoring four times and giving out five assists, including the winner to Rashford in the Manchester derby.

Speaking after renewing the contract, Garnacho told Manchester United TV he had worked hard for the moment. “Thank you; [I’m] very proud,” Garnacho began. “It’s a great day for me and my family. And I have worked a lot for this moment.” I want to say thank you to the manager first because he gave me the opportunity. And of course, my family, all the Academy coaches, and everyone else who has helped me so much.” He said.

Manchester United continue to prepare to host Aston Villa during the weekend.
