Nottingham Forest manager Ange Postecoglou has hit out at the fans for their boos.
Since his appointment as the Forest boss, Postecoglou has not yet guided his team to a win in all competitions.He became the first manager in over 100 years to achieve that stat. His latest defeat came yesterday after suffering a 3-2 home defeat to FC Midtjylland after yet another loss to Sunderland in the Premier League this past weekend. Since replacing Nuno as the head coach, fans have been disappointedwith the team to the extent of chanting the now West Ham boss’s name.
Speaking after the loss, Postecoglou insisted that the fans are allowed to voice their frustration with the team. “The fans are disappointed. They are allowed to have an opinion on it. I heard their opinion,” said a downcast Postecoglou was also jeered as he walked down the tunnel at full-time. “Nothing surprises me in football. It’s the climate we’re in. It seems that’s the way things are going. It’s nothing I can control.” He said.
They face off against Newcastle next in the Premier League before the international break.
