Arsenal drew 2-2 with Bayern Munich on Tuesday night in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals at the Emirates.

The hosts took the lead through Bukayo Saka in the 13th minute of the game after a wonderful curling effort.Ben White also had the chance to double the lead, but Nuer denied him brilliantly. Bayern Munich levelled through former Arsenal player Serge Gnabry after a wonderful pass by Goreztka. Leroy Sane was then brought down by William Saliba in the box, and Bayern were awarded a penalty kick, which Harry Kane converted to give them a half-time lead.

In the second half, Arsenal improved their game and started attacking, but Bayern stood strong. Substitute Leandro Trossard came off the bench to score the leveller after a wonderful move by Jesus. Kingsley Coman then hit the post minutes later for Bayern Munich. Bukayo Saka appeared to have been brought down in the box in the last minute of the game, but the referee waved it off as the game came to a conclusion.
