Arsenal has reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign England international Noni Madueke.
Chelsea has accepted a bid in excess of 50M from Arsenal, as the two clubs have a positive relationship. The former PSV winger has already accepted a five-year contract with the Gunners and is expected to have his medical tests this week. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta gave his green light to advance with the deal, and now they will acquire the services of the winger.
Madueke joined Chelsea in January but has been unable to knock down a consistent performance in the starting lineup. He is currently with the Chelsea squad in the Club World Cup in the USA, where they will play the final on Sunday against PSG.
Arsenal have added key players to the squad with the likes of Madueke, Norgaard, Kepa Arrizaballaga, and Martin Zubimendi joining.Thomas Partey left the club after his contract expired at the end of June.
