Former Manchester City left back Benjamin Mendy is now a free man after Chester Crown Court cleared him of sex offences today.
The former French International has been on a three-week trial at the chester crown court in northwest of England.
Mendy was alleged alongside Louis Saha who was accused of being the master mind behind rape cases related to two teenagers but Mendy denied them all.
Mendy lawyer was delighted with the court verdict. “Benjamin Mendy would like to thank the members of the jury for focusing on the evidence in this trial rather than the rumours that has followed this case from the outset.” He said.
