Former Manchester City left back Benjamin Mendy has found a new home back in France. The left back has returned to France but this time he will represent Lorient on a two-year contract.
The World Cup winner was found not guilty of rape and attempted rape cases last week. Signing for Lorient comes as a relief for him as he had been released by Manchester City after his contract expired.
Manchester city released Mendy upon expiry of his contract. During his time with Manchester city, he managed to win three premier league titles.
Mendy signed for Manchester City from Monaco in 2017 becoming the most expensive defender. His last game was in August 2021.
