The Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers 126-110 in game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Jaylen Brown led the Celtics in scoring with a game-high 40 points in 14-27 shooting, including four three-pointers. Jayson Tatum, the star of game 1, had rough shooting on 9-20 shooting and scored just 23 points. Derrick White also had 23 points as the Celtics protected their home court.

For the Indiana Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton left the game early due to injury and scored just 10 points while also giving out 8 assists. Pascal Siakam scored a team-high 28 points on 13-17 shooting and two 3-pointers in the loss.

Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla praises Jaylen Brown’s maturity. “He’s a very mature guy, Mazzulla said. “But he has a great outlook on life. He knows what’s important and what’s now. He works really hard, and he knows who he is as a person and a player. That’s the most important thing.” He said.
