Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has called out VAR officials in England.

The outspoken Brighton manager has insisted that he does not like officiating in England. Brighton suffered a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United yesterday. Mohamoud Dahoud was sent off for a nasty challenge midway through the second half.

VAR has suffered a lot of criticism this season for missed calls, especially in the game between Newcastle and Arsenal last month.

Speaking after the game against Sheffield, De Zerbi said, “I am honest and clear. I don’t like 80 percent of England’s referees.” “It’s not a new thing. I don’t like them. I don’t like their behaviour on the pitch. England is the only country where there is VAR, and you are not sure the decision is right.
