Chelsea have approached AC Milan to enquire about the services of goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
The Blues are on the market for a new goalkeeper for their new season and have added French goalkeeper Maignan to the list. The 29-year-old has just one year left on his contract and has yet to sign a new contract, and Chelsea are aware of the situation. The Milan star was rumoured to be on the verge of signing a new contract, but failure by Milan to qualify for Europe has put doubts on his future.
He is rumoured to be worth £30 million, and club-to-club negotiations are expected to begin. Chelsea have had goalkeeping problems the whole season, with Robert Sanchez starting the season but being dropped midway for his errors leading to goals. Jorgensen was promoted to the first team, but Sanchez was called back on the verge of the second half of the season.
AC Milan and Chelsea have a good relationship, as Chelsea have sold players like Pulisic, Fikayo Tomori, Olivier Giroud and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in recent transfer windows.
