Chelsea’s owners have released a statement towards the fans after over a year in charge.
It has been a very long year for Chelsea fans, as they have endured a very difficult spell over the first year since the takeover from former boss Todd Bohely. The men’s team finished in the bottom half of the table after sacking two managers in the same season, a decision that has since backfired. They have already announced that Mauricio Pochettino will be the head coach next season.
Though their social media pages Chelsea owners have released a statement confirming they plan for the long-term project of the club. “Our promise to you was to make our fans proud. Clearly, for our men’s team, it has been a disappointing season, and there is a lot we can and will do better.”
