Chelsea defeated Manchester United 4-3 in the Premier League on Thursday night.

Conor Gallagher opened the scoring early in the game after a lovely cutback from Malo Gusto to give the home team the lead. Cucurella was brought down in the box by Antony, and the referee awarded Chelsea a spot kick, in which Cole Palmer confidently slotted home to give Chelsea a 2-0 lead. Alejandro Garnacho scored a goal for United after a poor pass by Caicedo. Bruno Fernandes then levelled for the visitors with a lovely header into the far post.

In the second half, Garnacho scored his second goal of the game after a lovely assist by Antony to give them a 3-2 lead. Chelsea seemed to be headed for a home loss until nine minutes after 90 minutes, when Noni Madueke was brought down by Dalot, and Chelsea were awarded another penalty. Cole Palmer once again confidently slotted home the penalty kick to bring the game to 3-3. Cole Palmer then completed his hattrick after Enzo Fernandez quickly took a corner to give Chelsea a 4-3 win on the night.
