Cristiano Ronaldo

Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo admitted yesterday that his time at Manchester United was a bad one.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract was terminated after his interview with Piers Morgan, in which he called out the owner for not caring about football. He ended up leaving Manchester United and now plays for Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr. He was recently called by new Portugal boss Roberto Martinez for the upcoming friendly.

Reflecting on his second time at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that his time there was a difficult one. “Sometimes you have to go through some things to see who’s on my side.” In a difficult phase, you can see who is on your side. “I have no problem saying I had a bad career run, but there’s no time for regrets,” he told the Sport TV man.

Earlier this month, Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag admitted that he does not lack sleep after axing Ronaldo from his squad.
