Spanish right back Dani Carvajal bid farewell yesterday to Real Madrid after more than 10 years.
Dani Carvajal joined the club through the academy and has spent 23 years at the club and has elevated into the right-back position since then. He was part of the historical team that won the Champions League three-peat under Zidane. He has made a total of 450 appearances for the club and has scored 14 goals for the club. He has also won La Liga four times, the Copa del Rey twice, six Club World Cups, five Uefa Super Cups and four Spanish Super Cups. He leaves as one of the most decorated players in history.
Speaking in his farewell ceremony, Carvajal was emotional in his last game at Bernabeu. “I close a wonderful stage, an undreamable career. I only have words of gratitude to the club and the fans. My departure symbolises the end of the squad of the 4 UCLs in 5 years.” “We have all left now, but we will want Real Madrid to keep winning and do it again. ” He said.
