The Athletics community is sitting on the edge of its seat following an injury scare to the defending 100, and 200-meter Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah who was seen being carried away from the track.

During the New York City Grand Prix, the fastest woman alive was seen being carried for medical attention following her 9th finish where she clocked 11.48s.

However, after the race she took to her social media to settle the World’s nerves by clearing her injury speculations.

“I felt something uncomfortable as I began to push I still tried to go but it got worse so I am awaiting professional advice moving forward. Thanks for your continuous support.” She said.

Everyone invested in Athletics is touch wood that the defending Olympic champion will be fit and firing before the Jamaican National Championships followed by the grand event Paris 2024 Olympics.
