Faith Cherotich’s 2025 season was a remarkable success, earning her millions of Kenyan shillings from various prestigious wins.
She pocketed $76,000 (about KSh 9.9 million) from the Diamond League, including victories in Diamond+ events where the prize money was higher.
At the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Cherotich won the 3000m steeplechase gold and was awarded $70,000 (KSh 9 million) by World Athletics.
Additionally, the Kenyan government rewarded her KSh 3 million for her gold medal achievement.
In total, Faith Cherotich earned close to KSh 19 million in 2025 from prize money and government bonuses, highlighting her rise as one of Kenya’s top athletics stars this year.
