Football Kenya Federation has rescheduled the Mozzart Bet Cup venue from the Police Sacco Stadium to Dandora Stadium following the heavy rains that are being experienced in Nairobi.

The Mozzart Bet Cup quarter-finals were scheduled to take place at the Police Sacco Stadium on Saturday and Sunday and now the matches will be played at the newly launched Dandora Stadium.

The letter from FKF to participating clubs reads, “Further to our previous communication dated Monday, April 22, 2024, we would like to inform you that we have made the decision to relocate the matches from Police Sacco Stadium to Dandora Stadium.

This decision has been prompted by the ongoing rains in Nairobi. Additionally, we would like to remind you of the Pre-Event meeting at the FKF Goal Project Office.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.”

The teams that qualified for the quarter-finals include KCB, Kakamega Homeboyz, AFC Leopards, Kariobangi Sharks, SS Assad Kenya, Sofapaka and Compel SC.

The Saturday matches include KCB vs Kakamega Homeboyz from 12:00 and Kenya Police FC vs Sofapaka at 1500 hours.

On Sunday SS Assad will face Kariobangi Sharks at 12:00 noon while AFC Leopards will face Compel SC starting from 1500 hours.

So far the competition top scorers include; Arthur Gitego (AFC Leopards),Tito Okello (Kenya Police), and Meshark Karani of Bungoma stars who have scored 3 goals each.

Ahead of the encounter, AFC Leopards will be without Boniface Kweyu who is suspended after picking up two yellow cards while Maurice Owino of KCB is also suspended with the same reasons.
