Sky Sports’ Neville has been vocal about Arsenal’s performances this season. In January, he received backlash from Arsenal fans after he said that the club would bottle the league toward the end of the season, something that has come to pass.
He took to his Twitter page after Arsenal’s loss but insisted Arsenal had also had a great season. “Arsenal have had a great season, but when the going got tough, they struggled. It seems now that the narrative is that the city’s strength, injuries, and a tough run-in are the causes. These are normal factors that need to be priced into a title race.
