Harambee Stars suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat to hosts Cameroon on Friday night in Yaunde, Cameroon.

In a much star-sided cameroon side, the hosts opened the scoring through Vincent Aboubakar, who opened the scoring from the penty after Eric Otieno handled the ball in the box. Martin Hongla doubled the hosts lead after a beautiful team move to the much annoyance of Harambee stars.Stars pulled one back for the visitors through Captain Michael Ounga, who headed past Andre Onana. However, Brentford striker Mbeumo killed any hope for a comeback for the stars.

After the halftime break, Cameroon continued their impressive display when Bassogog scored a tap-in in the 55th minute after poor defending by the Kenyan defenders.

The Kenyan side will hope to revenge the result when the two sides meet again on Monday in Uganda. The home leg of the Kenyan team will be played at a neutral ground as there are no approved stadiums in Kenya.
