Jurgen Klopp bid farewell after managing his last game for Liverpool in the win over Wolves.

The German international has led Liverpool since he joined from Borussia Dortmund. He has guided the Reds to several titles in that time, including the famous Premier League title in 2020. Other titles include the Champions League 2019, Club’s World Cup 2019, UEFA Super Cup 2019, FA Cup 2022, Community Shield 2022, Carabao Cup 2022, and this year 2024. He finished third in the Premier League this season, just below winners Manchester City and runners-up Arsenal.

Klopp has created a strong bond with the Anfield supporters and has seen some great games at Anfield, including a Barcelona 4-0 comeback win and a 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United. Several players will be leaving the club, including his assistant, defender Joel Matip, and midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

Speaking in his post-match conference, Jurgen Klopp thanked the whole crowd for supporting him. I’m completely surprised. I thought I’m already in pieces, to be honest, but I’m not. I’m so happy, I can’t believe it. “I’m so happy about you all, about the atmosphere, about the game, about being part of this family, about us, and about how we celebrated this day. It’s just incredible. Thank you so much.” He said.
