Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed he will leave the club at the end of the season.

In what was a shocking decision this afternoon, the German-born manager shocked the entire football fanbase when it was revealed he would leave the club he has managed for so long. He has guided them to winning the Premier League due to the COVID-19 season, a Champions League final win against Tottenham Hotspurs, and a few domestic cups in his bag.

Speaking to the Liverpool website, Klopp said, “I can understand that it’s a shock for a lot of people in this moment, when you hear it for the first time, but obviously I can explain it—or at least try to explain it.“ I love absolutely everything about this club; I love everything about the city; I love everything about our supporters; I love the team; I love the staff. I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take.” He said.

Reports suggest that he will take a one-year break from football before deciding his next move.
