Juventus scored the equalizer late in the game as they drew 1-1 against Sevilla in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Early in the game, Sevilla scored the opener when En-Nesyri tucked a cut-back from Lucas Ocampos into the bottom corner. Wojciech Szczesny produced a few excellent saves to prevent them from scoring the second goal through Ocampos as they continued to dominate the home side in the first half.

Federico Chiesa and Samuel Iling Junior’s entrance helped Juventus produce more in the second half. They were rewarded for their efforts as substitute Gatti scored an equalizer in the 97th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Angel Di Maria and Vlahovic had their chances, but they could not take them.

The second leg will be played in Sevilla, with the winner advancing to the finals and either facing Roma or Bayer Leverkusen.
