Harambee Stars prospect Silko Thomas Otieno has been nominated for Premier League 2 player of the month of March.

The Kenyan winger has been turning heads with his outstanding performances for Leicester City’s under-23 squad which has earned him a Premier League 2 Player of the Month nomination.

The 19-year-old has been remarkable on the field, including a standout performance that led Leicester City to a 2-0 victory over Leeds United.

Otieno placed himself in the spotlight as one of the most promising talents in the league.

In March,Otieno was on full display when he netted a double to secure a win against Leeds United.

The Harambee Stars prospect’s goalscoring form did not stop there as he continued to shine by scoring in a nail-biting 4-3 defeat at Everton.

Demonstrating his versatility Otieno also provided a crucial assist in a subsequent draw against Aston Villa.

Otieno was nominated alongside several league’s brightest prospects, including Jamie Miley of Newcastle, Southampton’s Sam Amo-Ameyaw, Sonny Finch from Middlesbrough, Sunderland’s Harrison Jones, Liverpool’s goalkeeper Fabian Mrozek, Fulham’s prolific Adrion Pajaziti, and Chelsea’s versatile defender Dylan Williams.
