Manchester United ended their winless run last night after they defeated Aston Villa in a 3-2 comeback at their home ground.

Alejandro Garnacho scored a brace to help them come back into the game before Rasmus Hojlund secured the win ,after scoring his first Premier League goal for his club. Aston Villa’s goals were scored by John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker in the first half. The defeat to Manchester united ended Aston Villa’s 11-unbeaten run and denied them a chance to move to the second position in the EPL standings. Manchester United are now in sixth place with 31 points.

This was the first Manchester United game since Jim Ratcliffe and INOES Group completed the 25% purchase of the club on Sunday. The INEOS group is expected to take over the sporting activities at the club.
