France star Kylian Mbappe says he is happy and ready ahead of his return to the team.
The Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe missed the international fixtures back in October as he was nursing an injury that forced him to sit out. Mbappé has now been called up to the squad by Deschamps and is expected to feature against Croatia. Mbappé has been in fine form in 2025 and has 20 goals in La Liga and is only two behind Lewandowski. Real Madrid are currently tied on points with Barcelona but have one more game.
Speaking ahead of their game against Croatia, Mbappe expressed his happiness to be back. “I feel good; I feel happy to be playing football; I feel happy to be here.” “Most of the teammates who are here, we talk pretty much all the time. I go on holiday with some of them. It’s a pleasure to be here. The situation may have been unclear to people outside, but it’s always been clear internally,” he said.
