On Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles Lakers upset the Golden State Warriors 117-112 in the opening game of the Western Conference semifinals.

LeBron James scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Anthony Davis led the Los Angeles Lakers to a convincing victory in San Francisco with a game-high 30 points and 23 rebounds. Schroder scored 19 points, and Russell added 19 more in the win.

Stephen Curry scored the most points for the Warriors with 27, including six 3-pointers, and Klay Thompson added 25 by knocking down six 3-pointers. Poole added an additional 21 points off the bench. Kevon Looney scored 10 points and grabbed 23 rebounds.

Game 2 will be played at the same venue on Friday morning, as the Lakers will look to take a commanding 2-0 lead going home while the Warriors will look to bounce back from the loss.
