However, the highlight of the pulsating match was the encounter between England’s forward, Lauren James, with Super Flacon’s fullback- Alozie.
She made an erratic challenge on Alozie, which forced the referee to give her a yellow card. However, after the VAR review, she was given a straight yellow card.
This is contrary to Lauren’s form in the tournament, since prior to the sending-off, Lauren was in the form of her life- she scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists in their 6-1 win over China.
