
Manchester United secured a draw against Real Sociedad in Spain in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League.
The Red Devils have struggled in most of their games this season, but their performance in the UEL has been a bit of an encouragement.
Top scorer Mikel Oyarzabal, who has nine goals this season, returned to the starting XI for Real Sociedad.
Manchester United made three changes from the team that faced Fulham in the FA Cup on Sunday. Patrick Dorgu and Casemiro came in for Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte.

In the first half, Manchester United had many chances to break the deadlock but failed to convert them, ending the half goalless.
In the second half, the Red Devils’ effort paid off as a Joshua Zirkzee strike opened the scoring for the visitors.
However, the host responded shortly after from the penalty spot, as Real Sociedad captain Mikel Oyarzabal sent Andre Onana the wrong way to give his team the equaliser.
Amorim’s men pushed forward to get the get three vital points but Real Sociedad held their ground to deny the visitors and hold them to a draw.
