Manchester United suffered a humiliating defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday after a late penalty that was slotted home by Alexis Mac Allister at 90+6 minutes. The penalty was a result of Luke Shaw handball inside the box

The dramatic game saw both team miss on crucial chances with Kaoru Mitoma missing two cut chances and United Antony Martial failing to capitalize their shots into goals.

Brighton dreams of playing in European football next season is becoming a realty after a crucial defeat over United as the reds’ 4th spot now not guaranteed if they continue registering poor results.

According to Luke Shaw, the cost is painful and unbearable and owns up for the mistake which cost his club all the 3 points.

“I got a little nudge but, of course, the hand shouldn’t be there, I own up to it and take it on the chin. I cost us the game and it’s tough.” said United Left Back.
