Manchester City reduced the gap to Arsenal at the top after their 2-1 win at the Etihad Stadium.
In a potential title decider,Manchester city dominated the early stages, with Semenyo seeing his effort go off target. Arsenal responded as Kai Havertz remained a threat with his header blocked by Guehi.Ryan Cherki then opened the scoring for Manchester City after lovely dribbling and slotting past Raya. Minutes later Donnarumma made a costly error as his attempted clearance was intercepted by Havertz to make it level in the game. Ryan Cherki then attempted to gain, but his effort was saved by Raya.
The battle continued in the second half, with City on top to start the second half. Khusanov saw his effort blocked, and Erling Haaland hit the crossbar as the pressure increased. Donnarumma saved Kai Havertz on the break to keep City in the game. Eze then had a glorious chance, but he rattled the post after his left shot beat the keeper. Erling Haaland then added the second goal after Nico O’Reilly cut back to give them the lead after outmuscling Gabriel. Kai Havertz had a glorious chance in the added minutes, but his header went just over the bar as City held on to the win.
Manchester City can go level with Arsenal at the top if they beat Burnley in midweek.
