Manchester City dropped points after a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola’s side suffered a massive blow in their hopes for a title race after failing to win. Semenyo had the first chance of the game, but his powerful effort hit the side net. Morgan Gibbs-White’s low-driven effort was saved off by Donnarumma as Forest saw little of the ball. Semenyo then broke the deadlock after smashing a volley in the 32nd minute from Cherki’s cross. Haaland then failed to convert the chance after rounding off Matts Seltz in goal.

In the second half, Morgan Gibbs-White levelled the scores for the away side after a lovely backheel which beat Donnarumma at his near post. Minutes later, City went ahead after Rodri was left unmarked in the corner kick attempt. Elliot Enderson then exchanged passes with Odoi before unleashing a powerful strike which brought the scores level. Bernardo Silva’s effort was blocked well off the line as City wasted glorious chances in goal.

Manchester City now find themselves 7 points behind leaders Arsenal but with a game in hand.
