Manchester united are yet to face another big clash of the season in English Premier League. They are going to host Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday 12th of May.

Manchester United are making preparations to meet with Arsenal again despite the absence of their main defenders; Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw who are still battling with injuries.

The red devils previously suffered a humiliating defeat at the Emirates stadium in their first-leg campaign that ended in 3-1, with Marcus Rashford scoring theĀ  opener goal at 27th minute of the first half. The lead was then restored immediately at 28th minute by Martin Odegaard, later Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus scored consecutively towards the final minutes of added time and finally handing Arsenal a glorious home victory.

Arsenal are flourishing with seasonal performances as they are currently topping the League table with 83 points above Manchester City who are with a game-in-hand. Mikel Arteta and his team have positive hopes of winning the league title with their current base having missed the previous league title that saw them second after the defending champions Man city.

The Old Trafford clash between the two giants of English premier league on Sunday will probably be a tough and interesting match since it might be a determiner factor for Arsenal’s title race with Manchester City and Liverpool. Arsenal needs to win the match in a beneficial guarantee for the title but no one can tell what The red devils have cooked at Old Trafford.

Manchester United has lost 3 matches ,won 3 and 0 draws against Arsenal in a head-to-head statistics in their last 6 matches.

Manchester united lost 4-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park that left the fans with a question of what the future holds for them. They have only 1 win in 7 matches. Arsenal on the other hand had a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium last weekend, making them achieve their fourth win in row after being knocked out of the European competition by Bayern Munich.
