The long-awaited reunion between 100 meters African Champion Ferdinand Omanyala, Olympic Champion Lamot Marcell Jacobs, and World Champion Fred Kerley is now over after the trio confirmed their participation in the upcoming Rabat Diamond League.
The Circuit is set to be held on 28th May 2023 in Morocco.
The trio was set to face during the third edition of the Kip Keino Classic but Marcell Jacobs withdrew after suffering an injury setback. However, Omanyala and Kerley faced off and the African Champion got the better of the World Champion.
Other athletes that have confirmed their participation include; Reigning Wanda Diamond League champion Trayvon Bromell, Canada’s Andre De Grasse will be out to claim his 12th victory in the Diamond League, South Africa’s Akani Simbine- the former African record holder, Jamaica’s Yohan Blake, local star Chakir Machmour and, Fast-rising teenage sensation Letsile Tebogo.
