PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his partner are said to have been the victims of a robbery incident at their Paris residence on Thursday night.

Four people reportedly tied up the couple in their flat at around 3 a.m. local time, according to a police source. After the event, they were rushed to the hospital, as revealed by Actu17. Donnarumma was slightly injured, and a weapon was deployed on the scene without providing any other information.

The pair fled to a nearby hotel after escaping their restraints, and the workers there reported the incident.

The incident did not result in any bodily harm to Donnarumma’s partner, and the player’s representative declined to comment. Theft of watches, jewellery, and luxury leather goods totaling more than €500,000, according to the police.

Donnarumma was set to travel with PSG for the preseason on Saturday as they prepare for the new season.
