Manchester United’s summer signing Rasmus Højlund scored his first goal for Manchester United in the Champions League as they suffered a defeat in Munich.
Rasmus Hojlund swept home his first Manchester United goal to make it 2-1 after Manchester United went down 2-0 in the first half goals from Sane and Gnabry.
The 20-year-old, who made his Champions League debut in United’s clash with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening, joined the club from Atalanta last month. The Reds added him to their ranks after agreeing a deal worth £72million with the Italian outfit.
Despite Rasmus Højlund scoring to bring Manchester United into the game, United hopes of coming back were cut off as Bayern Munich scored their third goal from the spot by Harry Kane.
