
Real Madrid is monitoring the situation of Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool.
Alexander Arnold’s contract at the club is set to expire in June this year and he will become a free agent. According to Fabrizio Romano, Madrid have genuine interest in the England right back since last March and are ready to begin talks on the player’s side this January. However, it is not going to be easy, as Liverpool has told the Spanish giants they have no interest in selling him this January.
Liverpool has big decisions to make as we go towards the summer, as both Van Dijk’s and Mo Salah’s contracts are all expiring as well. Van Dijk last month confirmed talks with the cllub were underwah but no updates haave been issued siince then.Salah has also expressed his frustrations with the club, as they have not talked to him about the contract till now. Liverpool manager Arne Slot has on several occasions revealed that the decision remains with the club on the three players.
The Merseyside club has been in fine form this season and is currently leading the Premier League table with 45 points, with Arsenal second with 36 points.
