The Belgian international midfielder Romeo Lavia made his debut after coming off the bench in the second half in a 2-1 victory against Cystal Palace at the Stamford Bridge.

Lavia has been out since his move to Chelsea from Southampton in the summer due to an injury. He played alongside Moises Caicedo and Conor Gallagher in the midfield to help Chelsea dominate the game .

Nkunku was involved in the build to the first goal that was scored by Mykhailo Mudryk. His partnership with Nicolas Jackson and Mudryk caused a lot of problems for Cystal Palace defenders.
